What is Scrip and how does it work?
Scrip is another name for a merchandise card or gift card. You buy merchandise cards through the Alma Music Boosters, which you then use to pay for your stuff. You receive a dollar for dollar value and the Music Boosters receives a small percentage of that value.

What happens to the money the Music Boosters gets?
Of the money you generate for the music boosters using scrip, about half of it goes in our general fund and is used to cover our annual expenses. The other half goes in to your student's music account and can be used to pay for musical expenses.
How do I purchase Scrip?
Scrip is sold at the Alma Sewing Center during regular business hours. Several popular cards are stocked for you to purchase directly and others can be ordered and picked up in a week or two.
You can order scrip from any other businesses listed on the Great Lakes Scrip website
